Korseby Online - Ares

About Ares

ares
Ares are sets of rules for tabletop-like role-playing games. It refers to itself as Miniatures Wargaming System and is more or less a generic rule type for fantasy tabletop. It really has very simple rules that are based on alternating activations and repeated actions per round and unit but also has the ability for lots of interesting tactics.

One of the basic ideas behind the game is that the player can decide for himself which values each of his units will have. After setting up a unit or character the player has only to calculate the total costs (the Combat Rating) of his units. That will take some time, of course. Especially if the player has a big army he'll end up calculating for some minutes before he can start to play. And that's the intention of this website. With the following form you can calculate the Combat Rating without doing it on paper and let the computer do the job for you.

Automatically calculate the Combat Points of your Unit

Every unit (troop type) has some values. With these you must calculate the Combat Points. Please enter the properties of your unit below and click on Calculate to let the computer do the job for you.

These are the basic settings of your unit. If your unit has only one melee weapon, leave Range Combat empty.
